During the third and fourth weeks of August 2010, we will be trading computers and pencils for shovels and gloves as we actually build our design!

The word "konbit" is the Haitian Creole word for coming together to get something accomplished.  This is exactly what we will be doing in Cythiana, Kentucky, (an hour or so drive from UC's main campus) when we build our test structure!  In order to accomplish our goals, we will need lots of helping hands!  Groups or individuals are welcome to volunteer!

          Volunteers are needed for:
               - earthbag filling & placing
               - plastering
               - material transporting
               - general construction needs

Volunteers are needed everyday, but transportation will be provided August 14, 18, 21, and 25 from UC's main campus.  The van will leave at 7:00am and arrive back by 6:30pm.

Please contact us should you wish to join in the fun and help out!
